The story begins here…
This morning I buried two kids down by the moss covered boulders below the out flow of the spring. They were three days old when they died. Their brief lives were filled with struggle as they tried to find their mother who could no longer respond to them. I tried to bottle feed them but the bacteria that brought their mother down enveloped them and they slipped back into the dark. The mother had a massive infection and almost died herself. But a hefty bill from the vetinarian and ten days of sub-cut injections of antibiotics will probably save her.
It is kidding time at Psi Keep and the kids have been dropping almost every night.

I’m glad that I knew you were referring to kid goats in your blog or I would have been even sadder than I am.

Could you please explain more in detail what happened here, are you like in Africa or some other forsaken part of the world? Thank you.

Very interesting, goats can clear that quickly. Sorry about the kids, as they say it the circle of life. I will be looking forward to reading your next posts. Debra Gardner
